Boost Vocabulary Through Science Play
This training is approved in D.C., Delaware (DEEDS), Florida, Maryland (MSDE), & Pennsylvania (PQAS/ACT-48).
0.3 CEU’s (3 hours)
This training is designed for child care providers caring for toddler through preschool age children. This training focuses on evidence-based practices for teaching vocabulary in natural, meaningful contexts while sparking curiosity through Science exploration.
Participants will learn how to integrate vocabulary for each of the 5 science domains into everyday routines, hands on activities, books, and toy, sensory, and imaginative play.
By the end of the session, providers will leave with a toolkit for boosting vocabulary development (which leads to later academic success!) and foster a love for Science.
